Newborns, Decoded is sold by Lourenço Bandeira, PhD, an independent author based in Portugal. Contact: hello@newbornsdecoded.com.

A digital book in PDF format, downloaded from this site. Paperback and Kindle editions, where available, are sold by Amazon under Amazon’s own terms — not these.

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read the file and to print copies for your own use, or for people in your household.

You may not resell, redistribute, upload, share publicly, or make derivative works from the file or its diagrams. The text, illustrations, selection, sequencing, layout, and design are © 2026 Lourenço Bandeira; all rights in the human-authored elements are reserved.

Payment is processed by Stripe. This site never sees or stores your card details. Delivery is immediate: a download link appears after checkout and is also emailed to the address you provide. Links remain valid for 30 days — please save the file.

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is calculated by Stripe at checkout where it applies.

If the file is defective, will not open, or is not what was described, email within 14 days of purchase and you will be refunded in full. Refunds outside that window, or for any other reason, are given on a goodwill basis.

Because delivery is immediate, by completing checkout you ask for the download to begin at once and acknowledge that this ends any statutory right of withdrawal for digital content once the download has started. The 14-day policy above is offered regardless.

For urgent symptoms — fever in a newborn, breathing difficulty, dehydration, injury, or anything that feels seriously wrong — seek medical care immediately.
